Salesforce’s Mediocrity

Hugh Morgan · December 17, 2020 ·

Salesforce has been around a long time – almost 20 years – and I’ve used it off and on for about that length of time.  Marc Beniof has done an admirable job making the product a platform and building an ecosystem around it.  However, as an SFA, it is showing its age: its screens and workflow are clunky and some of its functionality has not been updated for over 15 years. These days, if you are looking for a stand alone SFA there are much better alternatives, ones are integrated with social media feeds, marketing and telephony and whose workflow is simple and intuitive.
