Description
Humans have been baking sourdough bread for 1,000s of years using four simple ingredients: flour, water, salt and sourdough yeast biome. In the case of sourdough bread, the kind I make, the naturally occurring yeast comes with symbiotic bacteria, which imparts a deeper, sometimes sour taste to the bread.
There is nothing quite like a slice of fresh sourdough with some olive oil, butter or cheese.
