About
I grew up in Western Canada, not far from the Rocky Mountains where I spent a fair bit of time hiking, climbing, camping, and skiing. I went to college in Ottawa, studying architecture, and then practiced the same in Montreal for a couple of years. I lived in India and did an MBA in finance at Booth (University of Chicago), working in finance for 10 years, in Toronto and then San Francisco. Since 1999, I work in technology.
I have a strong consultative/complex sales background, with the analytical and presentation skills necessary to communicate the benefit of complex offerings to potential partners, customers, or investors. I have a long track record of building teams, coaching, training andmanaging within early stage companies.
I’ve coached senior executives, helping them figure out how to be more effective leaders, managers, doers.
I also bake sourdough bread and run a subscription-based micro-bakery. I’ve consulted with several bakery startups in different parts of the world to help them expand operations, improve quality..
